Got a story Malawi should hear?
Tips, press releases, community events and first hand accounts. If it matters to Malawians, we want to see it. Publishing news on Zaku Malawi is always free.

What we are looking for
News tips
Something happening in your area that others have not reported yet.
Press releases
Official announcements from organisations, schools, clubs and businesses.
Community events
Festivals, fundraisers, tournaments and gatherings worth showing up for.
Your own story
A personal account for Zaku Voices, told in your own words.
How it works
You send it
Email us the story with as much detail as you can. Photos and documents help.
We check it
An editor reads it and checks the facts with you and other sources before anything is published.
We publish or reply
If it is a fit, we write it up and send you the link. If not, we tell you why.
Please include
- A headline and a short summary
- Where and when it happened
- The full text, or the release as an attachment
- Who we can talk to, with a phone number
- Your name and contact, so we can verify (kept private)
- Photos you took yourself, or have permission to share
We protect sources
We will not publish your name or details unless you clearly agree.
We verify first
Claims we cannot check do not get published, however big the story.
News is never paid
We do not charge to publish news. Paid promotion is labelled and handled by our advertising team.
